When Slingshot acquired the Carthage College bookstore, a full remodel was take on. I took the lead on this project to create full scale wall graphics and banners that would bring the Carthage brand and school spirit into the store space. This store has a unique location right above their football field so it gets a lot of foot traffic which meant the retail space needed to make an impact on the customer experience.

Using Carthage's branding assets and insight from their marketing department, I designed a repeating pattern to create a collage wall graphic. This became the accent wall of the store and sits behind the cash wrap to invite customers to make a purchase.

This process included learning how to develop a repeating pattern, using Photoshop to mock-up large-scale graphics to help better understand design direction and placement before final installation, and setting up large-scale graphic print files.
